Work Ready
The key to self-sufficiency is employment. But before reaching that goal, families need an array of educational and social skills in order to get and hold a job that brings in the income needed to support a family, financially and emotionally.

Work Ready helps adults prepare for the workforce and ultimately achieve a level of independence that reduces the need for government assistance. The program works in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Davidson County Department of Human Services and several other local agencies to provide a quality educational opportunity.

Employment preparation for adults who want to stand out to employers as ready, willing and capable of success on the job. This course builds on the adult's prior knowledge and life experiences to sharpen critical entry-level skills by applying them to real-world situations.

Individualized adult education program with equips adults with the skills and knowledge necessary to be successful in their roles and responsibilities as workers, family members and citizens.

Jobs for Life
Eight week Biblically-based course for adults designed to build on a personal commitment to develop work skills, build a strong support system and create a life plan which leads to their full potential.

Work Readiness Credential
Work Ready prepares adults to take the Work Readiness Credential, a national assessment, which confirms to employers that the job seeker has the basic academic skills, thinking skills and personal qualities to be successful in entry-level positions.

Official GED Practice Test
This exam is free and offered to allow adults to discover their current level of readiness to pass the GED.
