In 2000, a committee made up of east Nashville residents and representatives of social service agencies developed strategies for East Nashville around seven priority outcomes. Those are:
- Children are succeeding in school.
- Youth are ready to become productive adults.
- Children and families are safe.
- Parents are working.
- Young children are ready for school.
- Frail elderly living in supportive communities.
- Children and families are healthy.
Martha O'Bryan Center is committed to helping the community achieve these outcomes through programs and services that are a direct response to the needs of the community.
