George Malone completes 1,000-mile trek to benefit Martha O'Bryan

George Malone finished a 1,000-mile pilgrimage on foot over the course of nearly 3 months – and raised at least $7,800 for the Martha O'Bryan Center in the process.
His journey, the Camino de Santiago, is the pilgrimage to the cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain where the apostle Saint James the Great is said to be laid to rest. He chronicles the trip on his blog.
Friends sponsored his journey, and all the gifts collected benefit the Martha O'Bryan Center. Thank you to all who donated, and a huge thank you to George, whose generous spirit is inspiring.
