NextUP is made up of 18 young to mid-career professionals who host two events per year for Martha O'Bryan Center: Open Hearts to raise awareness and Throwdown to raise unrestricted funds. In addition to an annual service project, they volunteer their time as needs arise at Martha O’Bryan Center. We are making a direct impact in our Nashville community.
NextUP - Martha O’Bryan Center Ambassadors is comprised up of a Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Past-Chair and three Teams of Events, Marketing, and Membership. Business meetings are held quarterly, with teams meeting monthly or as-needed. We alternate each month with a happy hour or volunteer team project.
Lead by the Chairperson, Vice-Chair, Past-Chair, the NextUP-MOBC Liaison, our NextUP Ambassadors are made up of three teams to help us reach our goals: events, marketing, and membership. The Events Team manages our annual events through logistics and setup, securing sponsorships, and managing event hosts and volunteers. The Marketing Team develops our message and brand, content management, press, design, and visual documentation. The Membership Team recruits new members, plans happy hour mixers and outings, and builds relationships with other professional groups.
