NextUP Chain Reaction Team Raises Over $2000 at TennSpeed
They raised 400% over their goal and are currently in 3rd place for money raised by a team at $2157. TennSpeed: Ride for Education is over 80% on the way to their goal of raising $100,000 for the Martha O’Bryan Center. The NextUP Chain Reaction team is taking donations through the end of December and you can still donate to them here.
Foodbank Throwdown Highlights Needs in Middle Tennessee
Fundraising event for NextUP Martha O'Bryan, will challenge prominent, local chefs to a competition utilizing food typically donated to local food banks. This is the third annual Foodbank Throwdown, and each year, NextUP proves an amazing meal can be made with even the simplest of ingredients.
NextUP invited chefs from local establishments including Etc., Sinema, Two Ten Jack, Silo, The Farm House, Whiskey Kitchen and Grilled Cheeserie to show off their skills while donating their time. Each chef team competes to earn the top prize, Foodbank Throwdown Champion.

Aatul Jain, Executive Chef with Chauhan Ale and Masala House, impressed the judges with his Curry Scented Turkey Rice Casserole. Even more impressive, he was able to feed 150 people for less than $100. Chef Aatul was one of eight prominent Nashville chefs to compete in Foodbank Throwdown, hosted by NextUP Martha O’Bryan.
