In Cayce, brown is the color of winter. Buildings, grass and leaves are brown and the community is dark at 5:00. As a tutor in math and science, Lisa never expected to become the resident expert in all things algebra. But most important for Lisa were the relationships she developed with her students. They spent their time cleaning buses, vans and the Faith Community Room, and learned about the services Martha O'Bryan Center provides for people living in Nashville's most impoverished neighborhoods.
